What kind of post would you guys like to see?
I know I said I would stop with the back to school post after I started classes but I got a lot of request to continue doing them!
TIME MANAGEMENT: We all think we have it under control but in reality time is controlling us.
Being a full time college student, part time worker and part time intern and be tough at time. Where do I find the time to just enjoy my day or myself? Time management that’s how! (Corny I know but it’s the truth)
With the heavy loads most students have these days if you don’t learn how to manage your time you will be swamped. Here are some items I came up with to manage time.
1.Carry a schedule and record all your thoughts, conversations and activities for a week. This will help you understand how much you can get done during the course of a day and where your precious moments are going. You’ll see how much time is actually spent producing results and how much time is wasted on unproductive thoughts, conversations and actions.
2.Any activity or conversation that’s important to your success should have a time assigned to it. To-do lists get longer and longer to the point where they’re unworkable. Appointment books work. Schedule appointments with yourself and create time blocks for high-priority thoughts, conversations, and actions. Schedule when they will begin and end. Have the discipline to keep these appointments.
3.Plan to spend at least 50 percent of your time engaged in the thoughts, activities and conversations that produce most of your results.
4.Schedule time for interruptions. Plan time to be pulled away from what you’re doing. Take, for instance, the concept of having “office hours.” Isn’t “office hours” another way of saying “planned interruptions?”
5.Take the first 30 minutes of every day to plan your day. Don’t start your day until you complete your time plan. The most important time of your day is the time you schedule to schedule time.
6.Practice not answering the phone just because it’s ringing and e-mails just because they show up. Don’t instantly give people your attention unless it’s absolutely crucial.
Block out other distractions like Facebook and other forms of social media unless you use these tools to generate business.
7. When taking breaks try not to make them longer then 15 mins any longer and you’ll lose your motivation to get back to work.
8. Remember that it’s impossible to get everything done. Also remember that odds are good that 20 percent of your thoughts, conversations and activities produce 80 percent of your results.
Hopefully these tips help! Let me know what you would like me to discuss next by emailing me at email@example.com

I started school today and I’ve been preparing for it all weekend as well I will have a new post up tomorrow!
We all want to eat better and be fit correct? The best way of doing that is healthy snacking! I know while at school you might not always have the best choices but make them right. Instead of getting double bacon egg and cheese sausage biscuit, substitute that for hot oatmeal with fruit or cereal with fruit.
Choosing foods that’ll give you energy instead of making you tired will change the outlook on your day completely.
Also save money by packing your own snacks or lunches. Im pretty sure your school has plenty of microwaves that you can use!
Healthy Eating Positive outlook

A few weeks ago I applied for an internship for collegefashionista and I didn’t get it. My boyfriend reminded me this weekend that instead of letting that get me down I continued to push through and apply for others. I didn’t want any other internship unless it was that one at the time. When you have your mind set on something you can’t see anything else.
After looking around and applying, I found more internships that suited what I want to do with life better then collegefashionista would overall.
Moral of the story: Never give up. Just because you didn’t get what you wanted doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a better opportunity for you.

A great way to keep up in your courses is to print out your syllabus and review the items that need to be done. My teachers usually put up the syllabus a week prior to school starting. I usually print them out and review them. This helps me get knowledge of what I need to do and so I can prepare any questions.
Take for example an English course. If you review the syllabus and see that you have to write a number of essays that either requires a certain topic or a topic you can pick, make a decision now. If you make that decision now you’ll already have step one of your essay complete and you won’t have to stress about it.
This applies for all subjects! I struggle the most with math so I review topics that I feel that I will have the most problems with so I can have all of my questions ready.
Don’t get behind, because the stress that comes with trying to catch up is unbearable at times!

We all start school off by being organized and then later in the semester we loose that drive. It’s hard to stay motivated when you don’t have a constant reminder to do so.
During my summer semester I discovered an app called Evernote. I wanted something that would help me stay organized. I also wanted to be able to use the same app on my computer.
Evernote has everything you are looking for and more! I can set reminder to go off at anytime during the day. You can make checklist, you can do random things like make your own cookbook, you can share the notes you saved from a meeting (documents) and so much more!

For doing so well in school this past semester I treated myself to a pair of Limited edition Jack Rodgers! I also own the inspired pair of Jack Rodgers by Hotcakes, which you can find at your local shoe department.
You may ask why did she buy real ones when she could get inspired ones at a better price?
Quality vs. Quantity and Rewards all play a role in this decision.
I’ve always wanted a real pair of Jacks but thought that no one should ever spend that much on shoes. Jack’s are 100% handmade shoes. To me anything handmade has a better quality because a lot of sweat and tears go into making that one item.
My inspired jacks from the shoe department are just as good. They are factory made but they get scratches and tears on them more easily because of the material they are made out of.
Buying a pair of real Jacks overs more of a variety like personalization. Buying inspired Jacks or anything for that matter limits your choices
Rewarding yourself with something that can be seen as over the top or too much can be a good thing from time to time. It reminds you that doing good can sometime be rewarded.
I will still buy my inspired jacks and wear them just as much as I would wear my real ones, when it comes down to it its just the style and not the name.
Until next time ….
Tonight’s motivate me Sundays will be dedicated to inspirational books.
Inspirational books do the obvious, they inspires you. They inspire you to do anything that you want. They allow you to understand the things that you have been questioning. Can I do this? Why doesn’t this come easy to me? How long will it take?
These books answer those questions for you.
Of course you can do it, you just have to be willing to sacrifice things that might be getting in the way.
It doesn’t come easy because you are waiting for it to come to you.
You have to go after what you want.
It’s going to take you however long you decide to go after it.
This past week I have been reading a book called “Follow the Model” by Miss J. Alexander. To me this book is an inspirational life story. While reading it, it makes me feel that no matter what I will be able to conquer what I want when I want as long as I want it for myself.
Reading an inspirational book throughout the week makes things just a little less stressful.
So this week I am here to motivate you to find any type of inspirational book and devote a little bit of time every morning or every night to reading.
Until next time ….
