I mean if you aren’t in love with what they are doing, wait until you see their skirts, I’m sure you’ll change your mind!
Because I believe I’ve found the gold mine.
Location:401 Huger Street
I originally heard about them at the farmers market but I never could make it out to try their juices. So when I heard that Huriyali was opening a brick and mortar shop I lost all my sanity. Finally, I was going to get my chance. I know I know, at this point we have plenty of juice spots here in Charleston but there is nothing like a new juice to start your day off right.
Upon my arrival I immediately fell in love with the building. It was a gorgeous blue shade that was the most inviting building on the street.
When I walked in I was greeted by two beautiful people Ruchi and Tom. You can read more about them here because this post is going to be all about the food.
I got right to it. The first juice I tasted was the Green Dream. It was love at first sip. I was nervous that the juice would be overpowering but it was perfect. It has a 1/2 pound of kale, Cucumber, Apple, Mint, Berries, Kiwi, and Ginger. They were quick to tell me that this was one of their best sellers and I can see why. In this one drink alone you will receive over 100% of your daily vitamins.
After trying a few of the juices, I ordered the Huriyali Veggie Panini. BEST PANINI EVER. Before I go on, let me tell you what it consist of. Purple potato, cucumber, heirloom tomatos, onions, Go Veggie cheese, fresh green chutney and they brush the bread with grass fed butter. I mean can we talk about this? I didn’t even notice that I was missing out on meat when I was eating it. The texture was beautiful but it was the colors that this sandwich created that really won me over. I mean the sandwich literally looks like the rainbow.
I also have pictured their PB&J Panini. I couldn’t have it because of my allergies, but they use house made nut butter and a chia berry jam. I can only imagine how amazing that is. Also pictured is their over night oats, they use almond milk to make this, but Im sure If I were to ask they could make a few nut free ones as well.
Before I discuss my favorite item I have to show you why this place is so magical. Ruchi and Tom really took their time in designing the outside area. It’s like you are walking down the yellow brick road except its not yellow. From succulents to fig trees, they really have it all.
Finally, the best part. THE ACAI BOWL.
Prior to coming to Huriyali, I’d never had an acai bowl before. I didn’t know what to expect. Hemp hearts are now my new found love. The bowl comes with acai, bananas, blueberries, housemade nut butter, coconut water, hemp hearts, cacao nibs, gogi berries and coconut flakes. This is another item on their menu that has a lot of color to it. It was so pretty I didn’t want to eat it. It is jam packed with flavors and it isn’t to sweet. It will definitely fill you up no doubt about it.
I know you all are wondering if they have wi-fi or not and they do. I mean where else can you go in Charleston right now, to get these good vibes, amazing food, and beautiful atmosphere that has wi fi? NO WHERE.
They also have business cards that come with mint seeds for you to plant. I mean this really is a place that keeps on giving! I can’t wait to come back and try the green grits!
I hope you all really take the time out to stop by, its a decision that you won’t regret, and you’ll thank me later.
Until Next Time
