Fall has finally arrived in Charleston! If you live in the South, you’re probably familiar with patiently waiting to break out your sweater weather wardrobe as soon as temperatures dip down. Well, on this cool Sunday afternoon, I couldn’t have been happier to pull this Fall-inspired look together with J. Crew.
If you would like to know my favorite piece of advice regarding escalating your Fall wardrobe, it’s all about color blocking! What better way to add on layers in the cooler months than making your layers pop with color?

For this look, I pulled together J. Crew’s Ribbed Mock Neck Sweater in green with their corduroy pants in pretty burnt orange. I mean, how perfect is this color combo for an afternoon stroll around the city? These earthy tones are perfect staples for bringing color into your Fall wardrobe. To top it off, I added the Parke Blazer in white for an extra layer. Then, of course, my favorite snakeskin boots that have become a must for me this Fall.

Color blocking is the perfect opportunity to bring a little boldness to your Fall looks. Why not try experimenting a bit with color while breaking out all of the cozy layers we’ve waited for all year? This look had me feeling ready to really embrace the season, maybe with a little spiced apple prosecco too.
