I don’t do this often (blog lol) but a lot of you have been asking and I’ve been trying to make attempts to get back into it but still no promises! Today I’m here working with Coopers’ Craft. I had the privilege of visiting the distillery back in February with the Lemonade PR team! Being able to see up close and personal how the bourbon is made was honestly the neatest thing I’ve ever done. I have such a better appreciation for Bourbon now and all of it’s unique flavors!

After the trip I was asked to create a fun recipe using the Bourbon! I didn’t want to make a drink because that seemed to easy, so I’ve made two cooking recipes using the bourbon. First one up is an Apple Bourbon Marinade!
APPLE BOURBON MARINADE
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1/2 cup Coopers’ Craft Bourbon
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
It’s pretty simple! Take all of your ingredients and put them in your favorite bowl and mix it all together. AND BOOM you’ve got apple bourbon marinade! Make sure that once you are finished that you either use the marinade right away or you chill it until you are ready to use it!
Two things that I didn’t do that I wish I would’ve.
- Taken all the ingredients and put it in a sauce pan and added a little heat so that the sugar could dissolve properly before using the marinade.
- Used steak instead of chicken.
But hey, you live and you learn. Can’t wait to hear if you all try this recipe our on your own!

How to Roasted Peaches:
This is the easier step! Cut your peaches in half and remove the seed. Put the peaches seed side up on a cookie sheet and roast them in the over at 425 for 15 mins!
