How To Make a Blood Orange Mimosa

April 21, 2020

I know I know it’s a little early to chat about drinking, but mimosa’s were made to make day drinking acceptable, right? Today I’m bringing you my favorite, a blood orange mimosa! I prefer blood oranges over oranges because blood oranges pack ore flavor + aroma than regular oranges do, making for a more tasty mimosa!

To my knowledge, you can’t buy bottled blood orange juice, at least I have never seen it, so we will be squeezing these oranges ourselves. Here is what you’ll need:

What You’ll Need:

Ruffino Prosecco Chilled – or a prosecco of your choice!

3-4 Blood Oranges

A small pitcher or mason jar for your juice

Champagne Flutes

How To:

Slice your oranges in halves + deseed them

Squeeze your juice into your vase or jar. Four blood oranges will make about 1/3 cup worth of juice.

Pour your desired amount of Prosecco + blood orange juice into your flute & enjoy!
